So you’ve received a gift of freezer bag salsa chicken…

Your bag probably contains a section of bone-in chicken, one cup of salsa, one cup of frozen corn, and one can of black beans.

Instructions

1. Dump bag of ingredients in crockpot.

2. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. (The recipe is very flexible about how much time it cooks)  Or cook on high for 4-6 hours, but the chicken might not shred as easily.

3. When it is cooked, use a pair of tongs to fish out the chicken bones and shred the chicken.

4. Serve over rice or with tortillas.

(Not enough in there? Add more salsa or beans or corn or chicken to spread out the meal.)

(Crockpot too big for the amount of food? Put a large glass dish in the crockpot and then put the food inside the glass dish. Then cook like normal. This makes for easier cleanup too.  This is my most favorite crock-pot hack ever.)
